Jerry Yan, who has given the outside world the impression that he's hard to handle, actually changed when meeting his lifesaver Cai Yue Xun. Not only is he coordinating a lot, but he didn't have any negative opinions, making the drama crew almost drop and break their glasses. The now changed his nickname to "Bao Xiao Long."
Jerry is very demanding of himself. For his role in "White Tower," he's been studying and talked with Director Cai Yue Xun. As for the temporary decision to have newbie Zhang Jun Ning as the female lead, he had no opinions on it.
Because his long hair doesn't suit a doctor's image, Jerry especially cut his hair. Originally Ao Jun Yi, who put this drama together, was already prepared for some attitude but to her suprise, Jerry was very cooperative and very friendly.
Ao Jun Yi said, "Before I heard that Bao Long was hard to handle but I never thought he would become so obedient when he met up with Cai Yue Xun. Not only is he very cooperative and professional, when he was requested to cut his hair, he immediately agreed without another word. When he was asked to take acting classes and medical classes he studied earnestly. As for the actors lineup, he respected the drama crew's views, letting us feel his sincerity. Privately everyone secretly changed his nickname to 'bao xiao long.'"
Cai Yue Xun and Bao Long's are very serious towards their work so they have given the outside world the impression of being "hard to handle." These two working together have actually made them "easy to handle."
Ao Jun Yi said, "Right now, to discuss the drama, Bao Long almost talks with Director Cai everyday for a few hours. They often talk until their phones have no more battery."
Jerry hasn't filmed a drama for 2 years. Recently he's been studying the scipt and other related materials.
